Beate Trankmann, United Nations Resident Coordinator and UN Development Programme Resident Representative, Mongolia
UNDP and the Government of Mongolia’s partnership is governed by the Standard Basic Assistance Agreement. This Agreement describes the basic conditions under which UNDP shall assist the Government and how UNDP-assisted projects shall be executed.
UNDP's country programme is anchored in Mongolia's national priorities. The United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) outlines the whole UN Country Team’s support to Mongolia. UNDP’s specific country programme is then detailed in the UNDP Country Programme Document which is approved by UNDP’s Executive Board as well as the UNDP Country Programme Action Plan signed by UNDP and the Government of Mongolia.
