OUR WORK - POVERTY REDUCTION

UNDP will focus on national capacity development to formulate, implement and monitor policies and programmes aimed at putting MDG 1 (poverty reduction) on track. This is the overall goal of UNDP’s work in Mongolia. Support will be given on policy options for the off-track MDGs by identifying bottlenecks, prioritizing solutions, developing action plans and implementation strategies. UNDP will also focus the attention on long term development priorities including linking Mongolia up to the global post-2015 development discussions.
