UNDP is marking its 50th AnniversaryFeb 25, 2016
UNDP is marking its 50th anniversary in 2016. This is a time to take pride in our history and to rededicate ourselves to the work ahead, with the momentum and excitement of the new Sustainable Development agenda. The anniversary will help to position a revitalized UNDP as the partner of choice leading on SDG implementation and UN-wide coherence and coordination.
To support your work to position UNDP with your key audiences and to support your events worldwide, we have created this toolkit for Country Offices, Regions, Bureaux and staff members across the organization.
The toolkit will include an anniversary logo and email signatures in 6 languages, visual assets for a social media campaign and SDG posters in Arabic, English, French and Spanish. It also includes open files so Country Offices can adapt all elements of the campaign to their needs.
This toolkit is a living resource and will be regularly updated with new materials, so please bookmark this page and keep checking for new items and updates.
The centerpiece of the campaign is the 50th Anniversary Ministerial meeting in New York on February 24. COs and regional offices have already been creative in proposing events in their countries to mark the anniversary, carrying forward the energy and messages of the Ministerial meeting. We hope that this toolkit will provide resources to support your wide variety of sustainable-development-themed anniversary events, with your partners in government, the private sector, civil society and academia. Use the 50th anniversary-branded products to link your work and experiences with those of your colleagues around the world.
